Acquisition and redevelopment of a 35-acre wooded equestrian estate with a residential cottage, 8-acre pastures with 6 horse stable, and creekside mill foundations to be converted to guest house.
Pembroke/ Hopkins Park Food Pantry (Hopkins Park, IL)
In 2015, Blackshire is assisting the Northern Illinois Food Bank’s efforts to design and develop a raw site to serve a geographic area of need recently receiving national attention for poverty distress.
Walnut Grove Farmstead (Addison, IL)
In 2015 Blackshire conducted preliminary market analysis and feasibility study to convert 7-10 acre historic farmstead into commercial use.
CLC Lubricants (Geneva, IL)
In 2015, Blackshire is engaged to provide multiple services to CLC Lubricants including advisory services to analyze real estate options for business growth, brokerage representation, and development/ construction coordination.
Northern Illinois Food Bank
Project Management, Brokerage, Advisory Services and Construction Coordination services provided by Blackshire in creating NIFB’s 17,000sf South Suburban Distribution Center to serve its four southernmost counties, involving concept planning, site search, lease representation, tax exemption negotiation, municipal entitlements, removal of a restrictive covenant, and construction management. The project was completed on schedule and under budget.
Chicago Mold Engineering (St. Charles, IL)
In 2014, Blackshire completed services for Chicago Mold Engineering including advisory services for property acquisition, tenant brokerage, and design & development coordination. Acquisition of 44,000 sf facility expanded to 64,000 sf annex creatively connected to neighboring HQ facility. Economies generated in purchase, leasing and redevelopment exceeded $1 million. In 2015 Blackshire is engaged as broker to represent Chicago Mold Engineering in acquisition of additional real estate properties.
Orman Chiropractic Clinic
In 2015 Blackshire continues it long relationship with Orman Chiropractic through brokerage representation and tenant construction coordination.
Bible College of Wales (Swansea, Wales, UK)
In 2007, Robert Super independently advised in real estate matters to the sale of property owned by the Bible College of Wales and proposed development of new campus in Rugby, England.
